Lead and support a dynamic, storytelling-driven booth that honors Arthur Ashe’s legacy and highlights the transformative impact of the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network. As Booth Manager, you will oversee daily operations/schedules and supervise staff working in AM and PM shifts, ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement with the public and alignment with the USTA Foundation’s mission.
- Ensure the booth is adequately staffed for the duration of the US Open.
- Engage with booth visitors and share key messages about Arthur Ashe and NJTLs
- Distribute informational collateral and giveaways to adults and youth
- Support storytelling activations and potential guest interactions
- Serve as a representative of the USTA Foundation and help foster a meaningful fan experience
Who You Are
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff or volunteers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially in engaging diverse audiences.
- Passion for storytelling, youth development, or tennis — and a strong connection to the mission of the USTA Foundation.
- Ability to stay organized, proactive, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including availability during all US Open operating hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., organizing materials, restocking items).
