The Role 

Dates:  August 13, 2025 - September 1, 2025

 

The Credentialing Supervisor plays a critical role in managing and executing the credentialing process for the US Open. This position ensures that all credentialed individuals—including tournament staff, guests, vendors, and consultants—receive proper access in accordance with tournament policies. This guest-facing role also supports on-site operations and upholds a welcoming and efficient experience for all credential recipients.

  • Create and distribute credential invitation links to designated contacts managing large credential groups (e.g., staff, vendors, consultants, and guests).
  • Supervise and support credential operators, ensuring accurate and consistent application of credentialing procedures.
  • Review and approve online credential applications in accordance with US Open credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Welcome players, staff, and guests to the US Open and assist them during the credential pickup process.
  • Verify applicants' photo identification and confirm alignment with approved credential access levels.
  • Print and distribute credentials efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and facilitate on-site photo capture sessions for large groups requiring credentials.

Who You Are 

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with credentialing processes, event operations, or administrative systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to upholding security and access protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends throughout the tournament period.
