The Role

The Practice Court Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-court activities and operations at the East Practice Courts, serving as the primary point of contact from initial setup through daily shutdown. This role ensures that practice sessions, activations, and court maintenance run smoothly and efficiently while delivering a professional and player-focused experience.
- Oversee daily operations and logistics at the East Practice Courts, ensuring timely setup and breakdown of all scheduled activities and activations
- Monitor and stay up to date on the full practice and activation schedule for EPC courts, including any changes due to weather, delays, or last-minute adjustments
- Lead and coordinate a team of seasonal court attendants; deploy staff as needed for tasks such as drying match courts or resetting equipment
Ensure seasonal staff are receiving appropriate breaks and maintain accurate records of attendance and shift coverage - Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedule updates, deployment changes, and other operational needs
- Serve as a key point of contact for players and coaches; respond to inquiries promptly and deliver exceptional on-site customer service
- Assist with minor court or equipment maintenance to ensure courts remain in top playing condition
- Collaborate closely with Player Operations, Facilities Operations, and other internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and uphold the highest standards of operational excellence
Who You Are
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team and interact professionally with high-profile stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time, with an average of 12-hour day sessions
- Knowledge of tennis court operations and basic surface and tennis equipment maintenance experience is preferred
